Dear Trish, Thanks you for your lovely and atmospheric photos. My grandmother, who spoke Gaelic and came across the sea to America when she was 18 (in 1894) used to speak of a place called 'eye a tubra" and my father recalled this word, late in his 80's. We knew she was born in Cahersiveen but could not figure out what Aghatubrid was…until a bit of research. Anyway, many thanks for sharing these! Holly Sierra ( Murphy/Sullivan)
