Our First Guest Exhibition

Bob Ellis, House on Fire

Opening 17 August 2011 in Tech Amergin, Waterville, Co. Kerry

American photographer Bob Ellis presented his very interesting portrait photography project at Tech Amergin. The theme of the project was if your "House was on fire" and you had two minutes to run in and get something what would it be. Mobile phones seemed to be the most common object including hard drives as People and pets were ommitted.
All his portraits were taken with natural light and only two in this series was taken with digital. Very interesting night and Bob wishes to return to do a workshop in Teach Amergin so anyone interested should enquire about it.

  1. Hello,

I am visiting the West Cork and Kerry region in late October through November, for some interesting sites for this project

We are looking for three things on this trip:

Natural scenery involving coastal water and lakes with reeds.

Local photographers and videographers with field experience and equipment.

Local guides to out of the way locations.

If this seems to fit Your club send me back a note.
